Immersion encourages personal development and modalities are used to create an immersion experience. Our 200-hour Teacher Training has a strong focus on alignment-based sequencing using mindfulness as a guiding principle as an approach to teaching and self-growth. During training, students will experience asana practice, mindfulness and meditation, mantra, pranayama, and self-reflection as ways to delve deeper into the practice of yoga. This training is designed to encourage personal growth through study and connection of physical practice, philosophy of yoga, and spiritual practice. Our aim is to provide a strong foundation, steeped in tradition with an awareness of the present, that will support, sustain, and uphold the integrity of the yoga practice while allowing space for each student to experience personal growth that will aid in their teaching and their life.
Fridays : 5:30-8:30
Saturdays : 8:30- 4:30
Sundays : 8:30- 4:30
1 hour lunch on Saturday and Sunday
*Training weekends will alternate between BlueBird Yoga + Southtown Yoga
** Weekend taught by, Manorama, Philosophy and Sanskrit scholar
Ellen and her dear friend, Sarah, opened BlueBird Yoga in 2011. Since then, she's trained more than 100 people to teach yoga. She is passionate about fostering inspirational, knowledgeable, and confident teachers who are able to share their unique voices with the world. Ellen is a devoted student and practitioner of asana, meditation, and wellness. Her personal mission is to share light, hope, and humor with those around her.
Candace is a 500hr RYT with certifications in hatha yoga, children’s yoga, yogahour, prenatal yoga, and mindfulness. Candace’s teaching is informed by the knowledge, experience, and wisdom that over 20 years of teacher experience provides. She continues to teach children, educators, and yoga practitioners and those who want to teach yoga. As a student, on her mat and off, Candace delves deeper into self-growth, with a strong emphasis on mindfulness and meditation as a practice. Candace remains a student first, which she believes is vitally important to being a strong teacher.
Register online with a full payment of $2700 ($500 deposit included), OR with a $500 deposit with 2 payment plan options:
- 1 time payment of $2200 due by May 3rd
- 4 payment plans of $550 on Jan 2nd, Feb. 2nd, March 2nd, and April 2nd
- Full tuition minus your $500 deposit is refundable up until 4 weeks prior to the start of the training.
- 75% of tuition minus your deposit is refundable in the final 4 weeks prior to the start of the training.
- Once training starts, tuition is non-refundable.
